Review Ranking: poor | fair | good | great | excellent by Court Evans
While the world rages on the IPO successes of the internet's top community websites like theglobe.com and GeoCities, a quiet emergence of good ethnic niche sites like LatinoLink are launching. LatinoLink has lots to offer, including news, a job bank, free email account, an emailed newsletter, an interactive zone consisting of a discussion forums, chat rooms, literary area, a match-making service, and more. For what it's worth, the site has lots of features and seems to have a strong grasp of the basic elements of today's community website. However, for a site that targets Latinos, it should be more bi-lingual. Nearly all of the content is in English. The best days of LatinoLink may lay ahead. There's lots of room to better integrate links to the site's forums and chat rooms into, say, the Arts & Entertainment area. I like the warm colors that the site uses. However, a redesign to better integrate the site would help. http://www.latinolink.com/ Do you agree or disagree with this review? Are community websites the wave of the future.
